Projective listening, October 25 & 26th 2025, Maison des Metallos, Paris
Music is a form of artistic and intuitive communication that stimulates dreams and dreamlike visions; it affects our bodies and our subconscious, and its intensity gives rise to physical states within us that rekindle our lived experiences.
Drawing on the languages and sounds of the diasporic underground, the dancers experiment with movement in an attempt to reveal the physical traces and archives of their lives, but also to sense what they do not yet know they can be, to escape the expected through the practice of established and emerging techniques that defy the established order.
The performance took place as part of the first edition of the Émergence Art Festival, “What the world needs now”.
